When I hit the brakes hard in my 91 K5 is dogs to the right hard. Where would be the best place to start?

Alignment, brake caliper?

I think I need a new steering stabilizer too, but that wouldnt cause this would it?

I'd check teh alignment, but are you sure the road isn't just sloped to the right? Many are.

Brake calipers not working evenly would be next.

So did i add anything to this thread? not really, haha

I thought about the roads but it does it at anywhere from 15 mph on up, and on gravel, highway, in town everywhere. So I kind of rulled that out.

noticed one time on a customers burb with worn out saggy front springs, that when you hit the brakes, if you were holding on to the wheel tight it would pull to one side, if you held the wheel loose, the wheel would turn. because of the push pull steering, it would turn the steering when the springs flexed from braking.

Spring bushings could be another problem, since they will allow the axle to shift under braking. It could also be contaminated brakes, have you checked wheel seals for leaks lately?

Yeah their not leaking at the moment haha.I should check thoung, my steerbox was leaking for a bit...that might have something to do with it. The driverside left spring did get oil on it.

Hit the rotor with some brake clean and throw some new pads on?

It wouldn't be a bad idea, just to cover the possibility.

how bad does the nose dive? Mine will do it if I hammer the brakes and the nose drops (Im suspecting the push/pull steering) I need to do something about it (crossover maybe) cause when I hammer em its a panic stop which is a bad time to be trying not to change lanes.

3 to 4 inchs if im moving at a fair rate of speed or at least it feels like that.

I'd bet that you probably have a caliper piston locking up. Check the pads on both sides and make sure their is no uneven wear. If so spend the 15 bucks and get new calipers for each side so you don't deal with it again. Just make sure you put the right one on the right side lol it'll be fun if you don't.
