Divorced 205: Thinking out loud.

terrible with my memory lately. I could have sworn it was stepped collar. I'm sorry.

But this is how it WOULD bolt up to a 5600, if it were the one I was thinking about.

OFF TOPIC COMMENT

I see the '75 in your sig has a 540. Is that an offset-ground-crank stroked caddy?

I've got a '72 500 that I'm hoping to stroke someday, and a trans am short tailshaft BOP TH400 that will someday be hooked up to a transfer case....

It's your thread you can derail it if you want.

Yes the 75 in my sig has a 500 based Cadillac stroker. It is an offset ground crank. I am running a BOP 400 with a doubler.

NICE! Got a build thread for the engine? Mine has been sitting for so many years that I'd have to take it apart to reseal it anyway..... I'm thinking offset grind and balance crank, some CPM chevy rods, and 10:1 pistons, Aluminum dual plane intake. And of course a cam and carb to match and mid length headers. Hopefully that will get me the most bang for my buck..

Probably some valve work and maybe rocker girdles? Wish I could afford Aluminum heads :D

Any suggestions?

Low RPM earth moving torque is sweet :)
