Yea i think that is some type of conversion. A long time ago I saw a chevy truck for sale that was converted to dual rear axle by the same company that built DUCKW's in WWII. I beleive it had a similar t-case because I remember it having two rear driveshafts

That is an NP 200. Used in the Dodge and IH's, and M715/725. Made alot of heat is used in the offset drive. Came with a external drum parking brake too.

WRONG

The 3-bolt intermediate shaft cover gives it away as a 205. The 200's did not have that. I've thrown away about 5 of those 200's. :D

Looks like they used some NP200 brake parts there though.... Hmmm. Interesting beast.

That's a snazzy converted 205 there, live and in the flesh.

Somebody send it to me and i'll stick another 4 - 36 x 12.5's on the back of my crew cab!!!

Oh, don't tease ... I've SOOO wanted to do that. Though I think I'd hafta do the second set of leaf springs way inboarded like yours.

Plus I thought I've heard the NP200's are not well-suited to highway speeds due to the heat issues :dunno:

Beg to differ with you Tacoma, I should of said NP 205 case with 200 parts inside. Those are the 200 shift rails and at least the 200 front and rear offset outputs.
