I had a great time at Dixie Run, Tellico is a blast. The only snag was on saturday. I was the tailgunner for a organized ride, we had 14 trucks that started. We drove from the campground ( near crawfords ) to trail 4, Right as I pulled onto trail 4 my truck died. I thought it had run out of gas ( my guage didnt work ) but after it was towed all the way back to the campground we dropped the tank and found that the fuel pump had separated from the sending unit. we repaired it and then started drinking. I wasnt able to go back out on saturday. On sunday morning only one person wanted to go ride. Jeff is in my club, he has an xj. I really didnt want to risk breaking anything or getting stuck so we took an easy trail ride. 1,5,4 out. I was pretty impressed with the xj, he only got stuck once. so anyways here are the pics.

Those trailes look nice. I have the same problem with mu Burb - I have to drive it home after I leave the trail so I am careful. Careful is not always as fun.

This is what I really want to try, Lower 2....the mother of all trails at tellico. alas I dont have a winch yet ( at least not the pulling kind ) One of the guys in our club took 18 hours to get his rig through it. here are some pics of lower 2
by the way, this is a pic of the easy part... :eek1: it also really doesnt do it justice

Great pictures Gabe,
I would like to try trials like lower 2 without all the people and jackasses from Pirate there. The dixie run has always been on my list of thing to do. Thanks for sharing.

Great Pictures!!

On a side note Gabe, what lift/tire/wheel/axle combo are you running right now. Your truck has the exact stance that I'd like to end up with for my truck, everything about it is exactly how I'd like my truck to sit.

If you're running 3/4 or 1 ton axles how much wider are they than the factory 10 bolts? Backspacing of rims?

Love that top too, looks great.

Cheers,

Evan.

Man, Tellico looks sweet! I'll have to get down there someday! HAve friends that live near Charlotte so it's somewhat close and gives me a place to stay! :D

How often do you guys head up there?

I think it would be best to stay at crawfords camp rather than charlotte, its like 5 hrs to tellico from charlotte :eek1:

I know some guys here go once every three months or so, just depends.
