Have no carpet just vinyl under the front seats.
I want something for the rear with some durability and sound deadener. It was just bare metal and loud with the duals. I picked up two cheap 4x6 3/4 in. rubber stall mats and fit them in the rear. I feel it turned out ok and definitely has made it more quiet.

That stuff is heavy as hell! But yeah, it'd do one heck of a job with sound deadening and protecting the bed from impacts. Probably 1/3 the cost and 1/3 the labor time of Sileless/Killmat and similar products though, which you still have to cover with something.

I kinda did the whole blazer that way. I bought two 8’ rubber bed mats from PepBoys, cut and screwed it all down. Definitely more quiet. :waytogo:
