Just got off the phone with Kert and he has very limited interweb at the moment with some very bad flooding at his house. They are currently sand bagging. SO I'm passing this along. Brett

"Sorry folks. We're gona have some shipping delays. This is a shot outside my front door. That is the river that is 1/2 mile away "normally.""

Thanks for posting for me Brett.

Got a little break here.

Currently the water is receding. The sand bagging effort was phenominal. Several hunderd people came together and filled thousands upon thousands of sand bags.

Somewhere along the way some of those sand bags were put around my house. So thankful for that. Currently we are dry. We've emptied the basement and have only the appliances left down there. Pumps are at the ready but hopefully we won't need them.

Most of Rock Rapids is inbetween rivers. Currently I don't think you can actually leave town by car. The bridges are closed off due to damage from debris to the pilings.

Got to go!

Wow! Glad to hear you're dry, hope y'all stay that way. Be safe!

holy frack, didn't realize it was in his street!

Thanks Brett, Kert.
keep safe man!

OK, I think we're done for the night.

Just started raining again.:doah:

Alot of rain north of us as well and that is not gona help matters.

The water level dropped pretty fast today. My street is dried up again. It's really amazing how fast things got out of hand and again how fast everything went back the other direction.

I finally got to my storage unit on the other side of town tonight. I keep my blazer in a storage unit along with some other odds and ends stuff from the shop.

The water was right up to the back side of the storage unit but the floor inside was dry. We were so close both here at the house and at the storage unit. I feel pretty blessed.

Right now, we're all pretty much exhausted. Gona call it a night and try and get some rest.

man, that's gotta be un-nerving to experience
Hopefully the stuff going through in the next couple days stays north of ya..

Tracy was pretty freaked out and Konner was as well. I tend to handle the big issues with a bit of calm determination.

It's the little stuff that drives me up the wall crazy! The type of stuff you just shouldn't have to deal with.

Yeah that's our job to handle the big issues with control but that's why we shouldn't have to worry about the little ones , but.

Hope all is good there.

Luckily the way we roll... we don't need roads. Fire up the blazer and have some fun when things settle down. :waytogo:

Hell I bet the Dually was the go to rig hauling sandbags around!

Glad to hear all is well Kert! Holler if you need anything!
