Hey guys! After doing a bit of research I finally ponied up and got the rear bumper with the swing away tire carrier from Kert. It's now at the powder coaters and I should be mounting it in the next couple of weeks.
Did have one question. I pulled the angled "knee" braces off of the stock bumper today and noticed that I will probably have to pull the 2 brackets off of the frame ends as well. Is this the case, and if so, did you guys just remount the springs for the tailgate with a longer bolt through one of the holes in the bumper?
I'll post up a few pics once I really get started on things. I bought a plate frame from Summit Racing with a built in lamp as this is my DD. Had a Guy next door weld a piece of 1/2" pipe through the tube to keep everything as tight as possible due to the obscene amount of salt these roads in Northern Utah see.
