Hey does anybody know if the price for the Front eye hangers on DIY4X's site is for one hanger or a pair? I tried calling but it just rings. thanks in Advance :D

Yeah, be kinda silly to buy just one ... but that's a good price, coming with bushings. I paid that much for the materials alone to make mine never mind the fab time :doah:

(I did mine back before ORD and Kert were selling them...)

The price is so good I have to ask. I was planning on making my own as well, but with tracking down materials and fab time like mentioned previously I can't beat it.

Pair.

must have missed your call. Was there all day but manning two phone lines at the same time. Couple went unanswered whilst on the other line.

That's cool. I knew if I couldn't get thru the Brotherhood could help, and they came thru. I will probably still call before ordering cause I need some 9/16 bolts to go with the shackles. I will talk to you soon about it. Thanks Kert.

$8 word of the day to ya...

cheers! :wink1:

;P

I get flak every day 'cuz a coupla dialog boxes in my apps say "Please whilst we do stuff to your computer" :haha:

Today the wife and I were talking about the "cobbler's children go unshod", and how few people would prolly know that don't mean a peach cobbler :haha:

Never mind the job function of a cooper... :doah:

i was looking into buying those.. and i got regular 6inch lift spring on my k5 and was curious cuz the as said those are accomodated for narrower springs...will those still work with my regular springs??? just use washers to make up the differance?

After looking at the site i would like to know that too. I am using stock springs no lift as of yet just adding Urethane Leaf Spring Bushings.

So for the slow people (meaning me) they (the DIY4X Shackles) are designed for stock leaf springs and u need to use the washer if the leafs u are using are smaller than 3 inches. Does that sound about right?

Stock width spring in the front be it a lift spring or not is an assembled width of 3.5".

Our shackle eye hangers are set up for a 3" assembled width. So, if you put a heavy washer on one end of the shackle sides you'll make up the difference and be right on track.

If you want to use the heavy washers in conjunction I'll weld them to the shackles for you free of charge.

Got my order the other day.. Kicka** stuff.. great fab work and everything. Fixing to put it all together today!
