I'm installing the rear shackle hanger for my 56" front springs and need to enlarge the hole in the frame. I tried using a hole saw but that was pretty much out of the questions because it just jumps around everywhere. Anyone have any tricks installing either this one or the ORD "FUSH" making the hole bigger?

Here's your tip,

Most arbors for hole saws have more thread than they need for one hole saw.

So, put your finish size hole saw(2 1/8") on the arbor and then, inside that put a smaller one on that fits inside the factory hole in the frame(1 3/8"?). Now your pilot is the smaller size hole saw.

Hole

I am acutally in the process of putting some 52's up front of mine. Found I had gotten just a hair off with hole saw since I have to move my rear hole forward. SO, i just took a pnuematic die grinder with a carbide bit on the end, kinda looks like a small grinding rod. Couple of turns through the hole and pow. Carefull, Brake and Fuel lins run down the pass side of frame. Maybe this might help.
