For you guys running 63'' springs in the rear with the DIY shackle flip (6'' shackle) and inboard shock mount, what size of shock gives you the best flex? also what hole did you end up using on the shock mount? will the same shocks be good for the front as well (b-52 with 52'' springs and 7.25'' shackle)?

Thanks in advance!

I know for the front lots of people are running 14" or 15" shocks with ford shock towers. For the rear 63s have some crazy flex so I am assuming you are going to need some damn long shocks.

I would just flex the truck out and measure then you will know they will be right the first time

You are not going to be able to get a long enough shock under the back with 63' even if you rotate the lower mount down and raise the bolts in the kit with adapters and plate.( maybe if you had kirt make the inboard kit taller and run a body lift or cut a small tunnel maybe but you will be limitng the up travel.) you need to go into the floor and build a bed cage of some sort i searched and that is preaty much how everyone is doing it. mine pulls 15 of travel 9" down 6" up and could maybe go 2 more up maybe. I got 2.5 fox's most travel i could find 16" travel they where $430 a piece.
I am also going to do the front 56 and plan on running the same shocks.
