i have a dizzy thats less then a year old with less than 5k on it. put a new camshaft in should i replace the gear so they match up better than how the old cam made wear marks into the old gear? opinions?

If there is "other than normal" wear then yes it needs to be replaced.

no its normal wear i just didnt know if it would get wear marks that match the old cam, and not allow it to perfectly match up with the new cam.
Normal wear and it will be fine.
