Dizzy?

okay i want to advance timing and need to move it a tooth to do so. no trouble there but how do i get it to drop all the way and engage oil pump now that they are not lined up.

you can use a long screw drive to move the oilpump to get it to line up

I usually just set the distributor in until the splines fully engage, then (with the coil wire pulled to prevent starting) just bump the starter until it drops the rest of the way.
