So I'm changing up to some new shoes and the 42" MTR's caught my eye. Goodyear recommends a 10" minimum rim width. I have searched and cannot find a steel rim that will accommodate this tire anywhere. There is only one aluminum rim I have found available 10 wide with an 8x6.5 bolt pattern.

Am I missing something? I would think people have run these successfully. Is there a rim manufacturer that can make these?

Has anyone tried running these tires if so what did ya come up with?

That's a very unusual rim especially in steel. You can get a 9" and weld on beadlocks. The difference between 9 and 10 is not a big deal with a 42" tire. You may never notice a difference. I prefer narrower wheels to keep the beads from burping.
