I want to set up an auxiliary electric fan for my truck and need some advice on the cfm's

Thanks

Thats like sayin does ci matter in your engine. Depends on what you got for an engine and radiator. Do you have A/c? All that and more will determine how much air flow you "need"

As long as your fan clutch is working and you've got a 5+ bladed stock fan, I'd say one or the other...mondo electric fan, or stick with mechanical.

Electrics are there for the cool factor, and ability to be shut off for water crossings. Stock clutch fans typically work as well, or better. Auxillary fan isn't going to help since it will fight the stock fan. Unless of course you have it blowing over a trans or oil cooler alone.
