I got a burb!
Why? Well it was given to me, it runs good and the rust isn't nearly as bad as it looks.
I just drove it 400 miles from Caldwell to Afton.
Something is up with the glow plugs so it takes a shot if ether to start it. Like a 1/4 second shot. I will be addressing this first.
I wanted to see how it ran at the speed limit 80 mph. Figured I would run it up there and just see how it felt
Well it felt great so I stayed at 80 while on the interstate.
It's a 6.2 but it maintains 80 mph without much issue.
Kind of blew my mind to be honest.
It got 18.6 mpg on the way home. Remember that's 300 miles at 80 mph and I just flat out floored it on the hills.
The last 100 through mountain roads.
Once again I went the speed limit which is mostly 65 and just floored it on hills.
I was merciless to this thing. It was crazy it got over 18 mpg.
