Do dana 44\'s bolt directly on?

I was wondering if dana 44's are a direct bolt on? If not what other things do you need to put them on?

The caliper has a differant fitting then a 10 bolt for the brake line so you will need new brake lines. Other then that it is a bolt in.

I used my 10 bolt front calipers on my d44 HD
I didn't have to bleed the brakes or anything...just bolt on and goooooo!

What rotors do you use, the 44 or 10 bolt rotors? I was just trying to figure out what I was gonna do since I just bought Stainless lines but am putting the 44 in.

On mine, I'm running a 10 bolt with D44 rotors, caliper brackets, and hub assembly's. I'm using the factory 10 bolt calipers though. This was all do to my 8 lug swap. Just put the 44 in and bolt the 10 volt calipers up. They'll work.

I thought i was going to have the same problem...Just use the stainless steel lines you bought with your old 10 bolt calipers. Use the D44 rotors hub etc...

D44 will go right in. I personally swapped all my 10B stuff from the backing plates out on and still used my 10B calipers.

Ok thanks guys, now all I have to do is search for a D44 with 4.56 gears.
