Do I need a new torque converter?

Found this today in my torque converter. I has been out of the truck a while and I'm not sure if there is more in there. I tried to drain out as much fluid as I could, but I'm not 100% sure if there is any thing else in there.

Well that depends if u wanna take the chance and have to pull the tranny again cuz of something in the torque converter. If it were me ide get a new one, their not to terribly expensive. You could also take it in somewhere and have it flushed, then take the chance of using it.

I have no idea what it is. I hate to admit this, but I actually smelled it! BTW it didn't smell very good. I think it may have been a mouse.

whatever it is doesnt look too healthy to be in your transmission or torque converter.looks like it came out complete,but i dont think i would risk running that through my transmission.you never know what else is up in there.

It was laying inside the Blazer out in a field. And I think the mice got in there and had there way. I think I will just get a new one for the peace of mind.

I would. They way mice are, there are probly a dozen babies in there too.

hoperully they didnt get into the transmission also.field mice will get into anything and make a home outof it.
