Do I need drop steering arm

I'm installing a 3" suspension lift on my 88 K5, do I need to install a drop steering arm or can I leave it stock.

there are raised steering arms and dropped pitman arms. Your application needs a dropped pitman arm. You can get them from ORD I believe.

you have three items you can use to correct steering on a stock setup

drop drag link, Super lift makes a nice one but they tend to be about 4 or 6 inches of drop. too much for your3 inch lift.

raised steering arm. goes on the axle and is around a 5 (IIRC) inch lift of the arm height. still to much for your app.

drop steering arm. goes on the steering box and is around 2.5 or so inches of drop. perfect for your app. I think i have one but i need to verify it up against a stock arm. when i do that i will PM you and let you know. if it is a drop arm ill sell it cheap.

Isn't that one coming directly off the splines on the steering box the Pitman arm?

I would love to take whatever it is called off your hands if flyebye121 doesn't get it from you.
