Do I need this part? (Hydro pedal question)

I am curious if I need the two support rods on this pedal assembly. They're on the left of the photo. My mechanical clutch pedals didn't have anything like this, and I'd rather not drill more holes into my fire wall than needed.

They go through the fire wall and the clutch slave cylinder slides over them. Firewall is sandwiched between the brackets and slave.

so what you're saying is that I can get rid of them, then.

Keep them, the master cylinder mounts to them. They will also keep the firewall from deflecting when you depress the pedal.

the rods/firewall/clutch master all sandwich together.

thay were there for a reason on these sorry. not a part you wana leave out.
