Hi,

I got a new U.S. wheel 70 series rim for my K5, they're quite cheap and I like the style of them, respectively the ONE I got (typical ebay-steal, about 40$, that's quite cheap as you usually don't get those rims for less than 100 Euros over here)
Well, as I already had some very old, messed-up U.S. wheel rims on my truck I thought that there definitely are no problems concerning the fitting of the rims/tires on the K5; basically I thought the new rim is exactly like the old ones, but it they're quite different...

Here are the specs of the new one:

The wheel in the picture would work fine on your blazer, but the description says 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, that would be a small ford truck or car wheel, your truck needs a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern which the wheel in the pic is.
4" bacspacing works fine with the 10" wide wheel that you have here.
I would put at least a 35" tire on that rim if not bigger though, I like the skinier wheels for off road, I had those wheels and now I run 8" wide, and never lose a bead.

@Iceman:
Thanks a lot for your posting! The bolt pattern of course is 6 /5,5, I picked the wrong rim out of the summit racing catalog.
I'm currently running 33''s on my K5 - with the regular suspension system, (without any lift or modification) are 35 s still possible without raising the truck?

With no lift and wide rims like these, it's going to be very hard to fit 35" tires.
Just a comment on my opinion, I had some 31x10.5 tires on these 10" wide rims and a stock blazer, it looked nice and mean but for off road I wouldn't put a 10.5" wide tire on a 10" rim.
Is your 33" tire 12.5" wide?
if so it will look good and be good enough for this wheel, I just like to go narrower for hard wheeling when you air down, if you run full pressure like I used to with my stock blazer then you will be fine.

Yep, it's a 12.5'' tire, thanks for your informative answer :bow::bow: I'll keep my 33s I guess. They really do look fine on the K5 and totally satisfy my needs concerning backroad wheeling or just showing off :rolleyes:.
