do you guys think...

Yeah, 49's are pushing it even with 35 spline chromo's. 54's require more beef, such as Rockwells or 'Mogs.

IMO the 54 is too much for a stock rockwell with any kind of HP or gearing.

so u think

so you think the 21''/54/20 or the coming soon21/54/17 bogger would snap a stock rockwell axel easily? i know this tire is agressive and that tire has one heck of a traction(bite) to not spin and cause something else to have to slip!but a chromo'd 60 won't handle it(auburn limted so that its the weak point,, slip no breaky) so do they make a d70 front? i've heard rockwells axels are weak(albeit they arre big, not to let size fool me!not the housings the axel itself (u no with the splines and ujoint axel only)

Willyswanyer is running 47 LTBs and he has killed a set of Chromos in his front 60 and I think he stretched the splines on his 14FF also with the same tires. He has also started the swap to Rocks.

So yes a Chromod 60 will not hold up to 54 boggers.

they also weigh so damn much, thats alot of stress. 2" custom rock shafts would do the trick

if you have super coin, the DANA 80 front by dynatrac could do the trick, Cromo'd possibly?

i'm not a rocker..straight mud..guess i will keep the 39.5 boggers...may get me a set of 40'' gumbo mudders, heard they wear alot better during the hot summer heat, that they are a harder rubber compound

nothing is going to beat a bogger for mud bogs tho. ur better off with a TSL over a gumbo mudder. the again i believe gumbo's are cheaper than TSL's

put some OEM 2" shafts in a rock and I imagine it would be fine then.

Man, those videos are crazy. The back end on those trucks were just skating over the rock shelf.

I wonder what kind of motor he is running.....

Dibble is running an Injected 454 that has "had some work done":D

You can search Dan Dibble on here and there are a few post of his stuff with his "garage help". I think he is a regular on pirate.
