I have a 78 K5 without this sticker. I wonder if it was removed or if it never had the sticker. Do you have this sticker on your visor and if so what year?

I've never seen that I can recall. Dad had 5 or 6 chebbys, plus my 79.

Real question is how many of you actually follow this? For me when it was carbureted I got in did 2 pumps to the floor and started cold. If it was hot just turn the key.

Now that it’s injected I turn the key to on wait for pump to prime then hit the key to start.

I remember the diesel instructions in my Dad's '82 Suburban.

I always read the entire owner's manual and perform all the suggested maintenance every time before I turn the key.

I haven't done the warm engine procedure posted from my 73. I'm curious to try it on the 66 C20 because it sometimes doesn't start right up when it's warm.

It's also interesting the difference in procedures between the 78 and the 73 posted in this thread.
