do you have to use crossover steering with the 52 swap. i do want to convert over but i cant quite yet afford it.. will i still be able to use my stock steering for time being?? i know i wont be able to turn fully. has anyone done the swap and kept stock steering??

your draglink will be too short to really even be effective. you answered your own question in saing you wont be able to turn fully.
where i come from that means it dont work.

fully isnt compleatly needed for the time being...what you say id loose half of my stock turning ability...remember just to get around no flexin

I have seen it done but the guy redrilled and used zero rates to move his axle back to just about an 1" forward of stock. I have tried to shorten the draglink while doing the 52" swap. Worked too, for moving the truck around the yard. Just didnt' work very well

i have 56s all the way around with stock steering. with all stock steering i couldnt even drive it when i would turn it would just push the front of the truck up and barely even steer the tires so i got a raised steering arm from a buddy only cost a case of beer so. it works now but as soon as the driver side tire starts to droop it just pushes the front of the truck up and wont steer. im only doin this setup for now just so i can move it around the yard. still trying to save up money for d60 to do cross over to.
