I disconnected my filler neck vent hose, to run my my return line into the same inlet. Now it doesnt let me fill up with fuel very fast without it spaying out. wtf

you should have put a tee in it. need it to vent air out as fuel goes in.

Tee your return into your vent hose. Just be careful there are no restrictions after the tee (put the tee as close to the tank as possible) or your return will pump fuel out of the vent hose. The air in an empty tank needs to go somewhere as the fuel goes in. Without a vent it will burp out the filler neck as you described.

Hi guys. I am about to do this (put a tee in the vent line) to use as a return from the fuel pump ('79 engine swap into a '72 with no return line originally). any photos of your set-up, or experiences now that time has gone by?
