Can't speak to 2WD vs 4; they came in both. I can however speak to 3/4 vs 1-ton in crewcabs.
There ARE 3/4 ton crewcabs -- mine was a C/20 from the factory. BUUUUUT ... they're like a light duty 1-ton.
*All* crewcabs have the narrow spring space and the thicker/taller frame of a 1-ton.
The 3/4 ton sixpacks have lighter capacity springs and brakes -- like those of a medium-GVWR 1-ton singlecab. Figure that the extra weight of the bigger body and longer frame means that they have to be de-rated a bit.
You can upgrade the relevant parts easily enough; my C20 became a C30 and a dually in a weekend. (Easier for the 2WD as you don't have to source a D60
Cool. Thanks! Not sure if I care if it has a 60 up front, except that I'd rob it for my Blazer and put my dana44 under the crew cab... we'll see what's up with it though.
