dodge 208....yes i searched

Sorry man,thats not my intent.
Just like putting things together and I have OCD issues:(

These are not much for pictures but something to look at anyways.I did this over a year ago just to see if you could really put the Dodge back half on the GM.The rod that was drilled and tapped is shown in the pic.

Do you mean my thread here: http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100934&highlight=208+yoke?

I have been running this for 4.5 years now with no problems. I recently got a C/V rear driveshaft and I use the same output flange for the front and rear of the T-case (stock front Saginaw-style flange).

You really only have three options for this:

1) Make a hybrid unit using the Dodge back case and Chevy front like mine.
2) swap the Chevy input gear to the Dodge case and make a custom clocking solution to run the Dodge case (like above)
3) Use the Tom Woods SYE.

all in all how hard was it to swap the back half in your opinion??ive helped in swaping a 203 input before so go from there as far as skill level..i dont know a lot about the internals of transmittions or transfer cases but id like to learn it...i just dont want to get 2 cases laying in the floor perfectly good and end up with a box of parts that arent any good
