will a set of 3/4 ton axels from a 85 dodge turbo diesel 4x4 fit under a chevy? Would there be any mods that are nessasary? thanks

I've got some Dodge axle experience..... and some advice.
Check everything...!
The answer is - Probably
Is it something you want - Maybe
W/ a diesel, you may have a D60 front. Or maybe it's a D44. Either way the axle will bolt into a Chevy, but the spring perch width is like 1/2" different. So you either gotta "pry" the springs into place or use offset bushings to make it right.
But beware...! There are quirks w/ Dodge axles that are not really documented. I recently found that I had 2 Dodge disc brake D44's that are different widths....

And if you think it is a D60, beware of the D61....
