Dodge 318 non-computer points distributor

Need a distributor for a 318 Dodge truck motor. Stupid ignition computer or whatever it is went out and would be over $300 to fix. Looking for a points style distributor that doesn't require the computer hookup to swap in its place. I think '72 and earlier didn't have the computers. It's in a '78 Dodge Kary-Van if that makes a difference.

Well then I guess my neighbor is a dingbat. He always blows things out of proportion though. I'll tell him it won't cost near that much for one. I'm sure he'll still want a points distributor though, being the kind of guy he is.

If its anything like what was in my 77 Royal Monaco , its just a small box on the firewall , looks like a transistor is sticking out of it . You can buy a whole racing setup for that kind of money ( 300 ) .
