Anybody use Dodge 52" springs up front? I heard they move the axle 4" forward. Just checking to see if there is any info out there.

Dont know about being 100% accurate but i recently read the dodge rears move the axle 2"forward, and a B-52 will get you another 2".
Hope that helps some:thumb:

Search "moving front axle" it was fairly recent

Chevy 52s will move the axle 2in. The b52 kit has nothing to do with moving the axle vs a regular 52in swap moving the brackets unless you utilize the forward holes in the b52 bracket. And even then I believe it was just designed to mildly turn shackle angle and axle placement.

I'm using them in the rear. Got me a little better departure angle.

I've got Dodge 52's waiting to go in with some b52s. All my measurements say it should move the axle 4". The only issue I've had so far in my prep is that the Dodge springs use a 1/2" spring hanger and shackle bolt. I'm going to eliminate the sleeve and use 5/8 bolts, I just figure I'll need to change the bushings every year or so.:dunno:

My springs have a 1" eye. The bx-429 is for the 1.25" eye.
