What kind of factory locker would come in the rear D60 of a 1985 W300? Would it be like a govlock or a limited slip? Also what would you think it would be worth? I'm needing one for my Dodge D60 front.

I am gonna vote trac loc or power loc and they are both clutch type limited slips. They are fairly common and inexpensive on Ebay.

I've been thinking more about it and I don't think it would work anyway. Guy says it had 4.10 and was a ratchet style. I'm running 5.13s so I don't think the carrier will work. I really don't know.

Is there a carrier break?

Well I bought it anyway. Its got a clutch pack on one side. Is this powerlock or traclock? It came out of an 85 W300.

im guessing powerlock.

shouldnt it be 30 spline? the dodge rear 60.

are dodge front 60's 35 spline or 30?

John I think the rears are 30 spline vise 35, have you checked the Bella Vista write up?

 Yeah, I guess I goofed. Thats what I get for taking the word of the guy I bought the axle from. He said it was 30 spline inners. I should have it in hand this week to pull apart and see for myself. Oh well, I'm sure I can find something to do with it.:wink1: It was cheap enough.

i seem to remember on of the 4x rags finding a set of powerlock 35 spline "gears" (maybe from a d70 powerloc) to replace the 30s when they went to 35s. might be worth looking into.

Yeah thats why I didn't second guess him. I'd heard of powerlocks in the fronts of D60s. I guess thats one way of doing it.

You can buy new Spicer 35spline side gears for it, alittle pricey I think they were $40.00 each when I converted mine.
