Dodge Tranny

I just got a 4 speed tranny from an 80's Dodge 2wd Pickup. It looks identical to the gm sm465 I have but is it the same? It was rebuilt 6 months ago aswell so if it is the same I would like to use it. I know the bellhousing is different. But is the low gear simliar? And I only wonder what spline it is when I unbolt the tail section. Any info would be great. I tried to search but couldn't find anything.

should be a np435

search for that.

Thxs np435 is right. My search tells me the low gear is 6.68:1. But it is different then the sm465. The pilot bushing would have to be machined and the spline on the back is either 27 or 29.
