Ive just purchased a skyjacker 2.5 inch lift for my 90 K5 and after installing the front gained the correct height while the rear gained roughly 3/4 of an inch. So after dealing with customer service for four days i have no resolve. they tell me that the dimensions of the new spring are correct. So im curious as to if im missing something? so the question is do 90 k5's have factory blocks in the rear and have mine been discarded in place of a 2.5 inch spring?

No blocks from the factory.

Maybe they sent the wrong springs? :dunno:

Not trying to be funny or anything, but you know the back 1/4 panel is lower than the front fender and gives the illusion that the back end is sagging.

well it seems to be a big difference and i took b4 and after measurements and it doesnt add up? and i asked if they sent me the wrong springs and i gave them the measurements of the springs they said they are correct i disagree!

i had the exact same problem. 2.5" skyjackers front and rear and the rear was about 1" lower. i think it's because the springs are really designed for pickups. most pickups are higher in the rear, so they make the springs to lift the front more and level out the truck. when they're used on the blazers, they don't lift enough in the rear. i added an add-a-leaf to my springs and it helped. now that they're on the market, i'd probably go with a 0-rate add-a-leaf to gain 1" extra. it won't affect the ride quality like the regular add-a-leaf and it also gives you the option of moving your rear axle front or back a little if you have clearance issues.

well im happy to say now that im not the only one out here! im also considering a shackle flip kit but ive have also thought about the zero rates! thanks for the input and sugestions i really do appreciate it and like i said im pleased im not the only one out there!

If you took measurements and you know you are correct, return them and take your business eslewhere. Don't let them blow you off.

yeah ive pondered that one for sure! they ordered me another set to compare so i guess im waiting on that now hopefully ill figure something out! this has been one aggravating ordeal!

solution= swapped out the 2.5 inch lift springs with 4 inch springs problem solved and i have no idea why the diff? but truck sits close to level now with the back end being a tiny bit higher but im satisfied! looks good rides good and im happy with it!
