3/4 ton status
When i was torquing down my intake manifold, i couldnt get my torque wrench in there on some of the bolts so i had to use a universal on my wrench. Do those affect the readings at all? thanks.

Does a universal affect a torque wrench reading?

yes, but i would not be too worried, few people ever torque their intake as long as you did the pattern and they are not finger tight you will be good to go.
