I'm planning on stopping by Napa on my way home from school to get a socket for my t-case fill plug, only I left my drain plug at home (do'h) which I was going to use as a reference (I believe they're the same size). Anybody know what the socket size is? I think it's around 1 3/8" but that's just a guesstimate. Thanks!

I can tell you it's a metric thread inside that hole so don't ever lose one of those plugs.

30 MM sounds about right. I believe its an M22-1.5 thread.

i tried the crescent last night.... no worky...Thanks for the responses guys, I was able to get the right socket because of them!

Nah, I 'member when I was doing mine, the hex head is so low profile I couldn't get an adjustable to stay on it.

Big-ass socket later, she popped right off. I was afraid that if I whanged on it with the crescent any more, I'd booger the head up so bad the socket wouldn't take /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
