They look just like a K20 and K10 long bed, besides it saying "K30" and having the lights on the roof. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif I'm sure you have seen a dually defore.

Right click on picture, select 'properties'. hilight the pictures' url and select 'copy'.

Whats the gig with these things anyway?? Only 1 or 2 of those say k30 on the side /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif and you cant find them anywhere /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifVery hard to find /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Aside from the military they were relatively rare in comparison to the K20's. Most people couldn't justify the extra cost when they were new. This leads to the other problem with a lot of the civi K30's...those that did pay extra for the one ton over the 3/4 ton usually worked em hard. Pretty damn rare to find a K30 that has had an easy life.

Ironically the military K30's (M1008's etc) usually did have a relatively easy life, and usually few miles. If I had my heart set on a K30 I'd buy a M1008 at auction...

Good luck with that 6.2 diesel in the mud. It's the ONLy engine available in an M1008. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The 6.2's in the years of K-30's that you are looking at will require some serious dollars to make powerful enough to play hard in the mud . They are naturally aspirated indirect injected and are nothing but bottom end motors in stock form .
If you are looking for a tire spinning demon from a 6.2 than you are looking in the wrong spot.......

It would be a terrific start . You could always find a M1008 that is trashed engine wise and transfer the running gear into and older K-20 or what ever you find that addresses yor emission concerns.
