I just recently bought a bare block 4bolt main bored 030 for a 383 stroker. Ive dissasembled my original 350 numerous times for various reason but was looking for a guide for rebuilding a sbc or 383 stroker if anyone has one from a site or whatever, pics would be great obviously.
Another question, on the bare block I bought, it was line bored and all that but its a bit dirty no rust, just dirt and old paint from a previous build I assume, is ther a good way to clean the block myself instead of taking it and getting it dipped for 200 bucks, or is that the best and most thorough way?
