I keep spilling brake fluid on my valve cover when I bleed the brakes, so I'm thinking of upgrading valve covers to something more pimpy.

One choice is anodized aluminum; another is powdercoated. The anodized I'm sure would be fairly impervious to brake fluid ... how about the powdercoat?

Brake fluid will eat just about any kind of paint/coating you spill it on.

I was just going to say that the better paint strippers will remove powder coat.

Chuckle. Brake fluid -- the used kind, which I seem to have lots of after my hydroboost upgrade -- is a cheap paint stripper ;)
