Thinking about helping out my 87 TBI 454, starting first w/air, then working my way into the motor. So here's the question:
Compared to the funky first-year cobbled together TBI intake w/the funky coolant-heated TBI spacer (what the hell is that for, anyway), is the Edelbrock TBI intake an improvement or not?
Comparing the two visually it appears the the Edelbrock has a better set of runners on it, taller and straighter shot (slightly) than the factory model. For $250, I hope it helps improve SOMETHING.
SO: anyone install one? and what happened.
