Does the fuel sending unit connection type matter?

I decided to go with the full fuel system replace to add the sniper efi and went with the Tanks Inc C10 under bed kit with the in tank pump (BTW it fits awesome with slight notches cut in the mounting tabs, pics later). I believe I got the right Ohm sending unit, but my connector is a push on from the old setup and the new one takes an eyelet style connector.
It's an easy swap, but I wanted to make sure the push-on style was not something different I need to consider, in case the previous owner had already changed something under here or that connector type tells me something about the unit?

It shouldn’t matter

Also, got my tank/sender from there and already having issues

Yes the switch from push on to ring eye shouldn't matter in the great scheme of gauge accuracy. The ground you provide might have a bigger effect. Be sure it is good clean ground.
