I installed a set of tuff country ez-ride springs and Offrod Design hd shackle mounts in the front of my truck recently, but upon further inspection I am concerned. The front shackle seems to tilt forward a bit too much compared to other leaf sprung trucks (chevy and non). Any help would be much appreciated.

Yep, that's how they are. The main leaf is a little short for the amount of arch in the spring, not much you can do besides add more weight to get the springs to settle some.

Looks very normal. Not an ideal angle when it comes to function, but thats how i would say most look.

Thanks a lot guys. I started to worry that I screwed something up :doah:

70jimmy The springs will settle over time. A long time with plenty of flexing. However they don't settle a lot. Mine has about the same angle with 6" springs and same shackles

How much flex/ articulation do you get out of your rig?

I get plenty of flex, gets very close to the top of an articulation ramp before I lift. The rear I did inboard the shocks so that may have a little to do with it, and I have F250 mounts up front so changed the angle of the shocks there also.

I looked for some pics but last time my computer crashed I lost a lot of my pics.

The front is definitely stiffer than the rear but has been getting alot better with more use, especially on compression.

Not much for the articulation but all I could come up with now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOK4o2B81f0&feature=related
