Does this look right?

This is the right side clamshell for my Sub(6.2 diesel). I am not sure it it should have the notch on the closest mounting hole or not. It looks like it still has factory casting marks, but the left clamshell has to solid holes for the main bolt.

Disregard teh grinding marks, that was from me getting rid of some messed up metal frme the totally destroyed motor mount.

My 6.2 has one side of the mount slotted like that as well. All I can figure is you're supposed to put the bolt most of the way through the mount on the chassis, then drop the engine in place, then knock the bolt the rest of the way through. Thats what I used the slots for, and it make engine installation quite a bit easier.

Now that you mention it, I wouldn't have had to drop the starter if I had known of this.
