Does anyone have experience with this company? I'm looking to lift a friends truck (2WD GMC Sierra Classic) with Doetsch 3" spindles and shocks...

Has anyone ever used this brand and have experience with them?

Should I stick to the Fabtech 3" kit?

This is gonna be a daily driven all show and no go truck but I don't want to put an inferior part on it...

Thanks in advance!

Phil

Don't know if this helps but I called them about a week ago wanting a price on shocks, they said they would call back, I'm still waiting...I was even gonna buy the good ones to...

I spoke with them yesterday about some 2.0 monotubes. They were very polite and helpful, they faxed me an order sheet today.

I have to admit talking to them on the phone the lady named Carol was extremly polite and helpful. I'm just curious about the quality of the products...

I talked to one of their reps at the Off-Road Expo in 2007. He knew his stuff and what they had on display looked to be high quality. They have (had) a pretty wide line of product - even a lift for my 2wd Dakota. From what I saw and heard, I'd buy their stuff.

Thanks for the input. Like I said my main concern is quality as this is going on a lady friends truck. :wink1: Don't wanna ruin a good thing before it gets started. :doah:

I just want the truck to be safe and reliable for her even if it is a pavement pounder.

Anyone else???

I bought 2 Doetsch Tech MV 16 shocks for the rear of my 4Runner, and for the last year they've been on, they work excellent.

The quality of the MV16 shocks are awesome, and they're made HD.
I'll be buying their products again.

I ran them on my old CJ for years. They were great. I used thier steering stabilizer also, worked great. Good Stuff in my opinion .

I have a pair of their 8000 shocks in the rear right now and they seem to be fine after about 25K miles. The front ones, on the other hand, were gone after 10K.

Here's a summary of my issues:

In short, I wouldn't recommend them. At the very least because of the customer service issues they seem to have. If the front of the shop is so disorganized, it doesn't bode well for the back. Of course, it's been a couple years now and they could have cleaned up their act (I'm not going to find out though).
