Finishing up the rewire on my 75 k5 using ez wiring kit. I'm at the dome and interior lights. It has a hot wire going to the dome light but not sure how to bring the ground to it. I have the previous wiring it wasn't hooked up right. It has the 2 door jam switches that go to a light socket under the dash. The socket has 3 white wires and an orange wire. Also there is a wire coming off the head light switch that my instructions say is dome light return. Any help or diagrams would be appreciated.

Well, the door switches supply the ground. A lot of them only have the one return wire hooked to them, and they ground to the door frame when you screw them in.
So, when you open the door, it grounds the return wire and turns on the light.

I'll look through my schematics in a few minutes to try to get the wire colors.

here you go. pretty simple, really.
