Metro,
I cant figure out how to post a picture in a pm... so here are the blocks and ubolts I have. They are 2.5" blocks that I ran with 3" lift springs in the front. I ran 33/12.5r16.5 with no problems. I also did not need to make any modifications to the steering with this lift. But you may need to add a spacer for your brake lines. This would probably look right as far as the movie rig goes. Let me know. I think they would fit in a standard rate box.

well, that's a zero rate in the front.. you can only go 1" in the front with a "block", tho it's not really a block cuz it bolts to the spring pack...

you can put whatever height block in the back you want.. but the front your limited to a 1" zero rate or add a inch.. and yes, both require new u-bolts..

tell that to NJ inspection... he made me remove it... i even told him it wasnt a block as it was bolted and she said he will fail me with it on... and said DOT if pulled over will tow my truck right out of there....

i ran a 3" BL for YEARS!!!!!!! just for room for the tires to not hit.. and i loved it... took it off as when i took the 13" leafs off.. truck was still not gonna pass nj lift laws.. so bl came off.. but now im gonna add one again... eff them...

you are not recommending him to run them up front are you???

LOL No... Blocks for the rear, 3" Springs for the front. But that would be interesting to see.

The springs I had may not have been 3"... it all came as a kit for a 2.5" lift. I think it was from Procomp, purchased in about 96.

I wish I could have a set of zero-rates land in my lap.

Does anyone know how many leaves a Blazer should have from the factory? Because I have never seen another one in person with as much rake as mine does. In fact, most have the back end sagging. In the front I have 3 leaves, and in the back I've got 4 with an overload about a 1/2 in thick. And they are 3" wide.

I know there was a HD spring pack, but I didn't think it was this mean.

The 3 pack of front springs is the heavy duty set. Zero rates are only $40, just buy a set.

Really? I thought they were like a hundred-something, Guess I will then.

I assume then that the 4 normal leaves with double thickness 5th (would it be considered an overload?) Leaf on the bottom on the back would be in line with the heavy duty spring pack?

Jess and I have history. He needed a transmission for a truck and I had a truck with a very religious body and a great motor and trans I had to sell. I helped him and he helped me. The motor and trans were worth at least twice what he paid.

You never know when the big guy is watching and some day you might need his help. That is why it is easy to do the right thing (at least for me).

Yup still have the motor and frame.. The body I was breathing heavy and it all fell on the ground..lol I'll get the zero rates in the mail on Monday. You may need new bolts though depending on the thickness of your spring pack.

If you are going to order them from ORD, just tell them what you are doing and I am sure they will send you the right u-bolts. It is very likely that they will have them in stock.

If you have a spring shop local to you, they should be able to make them on the spot. A few measurements and what vehicle you are working with is all they should need

i have a 2 and 1/2 " kit rear blocks front springs and shocks should have the u bolts also
if you want it its free just pay the shipping
i can check into everything to make sure its still all there

Link to shirts? I'll try to grab one tonight.
