Donor Roof

So this may be a silly or obvious question but is the roof of my 1986 K5 the same as the roof of a similar vintage C10 pickup up until the integral roll bar of the K5? I'm considering cutting my rusty old roof out and finding a donor and in my area there are more C10 pickups in the junkyard than blazers. Any input you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.

They are different. If you are good at bodywork, you could probably do it. There would be considerable work involved. Looking at an 87 cab and my 80 k5, I wouldn't do it unless I had way more time than money.
