shipping companies screw up your order? i was supposed to get the tires that i ordered today (38.5/15/15 boggers), but instead i got 37/12.5/17 procomp xtreme at's :doah:. turns out some guy in virginia got my tires and i got his. is it just me or cant you tell the difference between boggers and these..?

yeah, they are picking these back up and sending me MY tires sometime next week. yeah, i was pretty pissed when i came home expecting to see my beastly boggers and saw these at's instead. :dunno: but its not that big of a deal i guess.. i just hate waiting :mad:
 
Is the shipping company going to cut you a deal on the shipping? Or is the company you ordered them from going to collect that money and leave you out to dry?
 
i have to deal with ups and fedex daily, at work. here's what you can milk out of them...

1. no charge for original (wrong) shipping
2. free return/exchange shipping
3. free saturday delivery
4. credit towards a future shipment

i don't mean you can get one of them. you can get them all with a 5-minute (or less) phone call.

these guys screw up our payroll shipments A LOT, and it makes us :angry1:.
 
I can just imagine the other guys surprize when he got those boggers.
I hope they get it straighten out quickly. I know you are just steaming .:mad:
 
Sell those and send some rollers back with the company.:doah::haha:

UPS lost my focking draglink... bastards. Said they got the box and it was torn in half and empty... atleast they refunded it.:rolleyes:
 
its not ups or fed-es.. its R&L carriers. they are taking the old ones back and bringing me the right ones for no shipping charge, but they wont credit me anything. i asked and everything but they just wont. but im supposed to get the right tires on monday, so we'll see if they get it right this time
 
You need to call back and talk to a manager. They can make decisions. Freight carriers make mistakes all the time. We have had multi million dollar equipment show up days late. You need to let them know that you are the customer and push them for what you feel is right. I deal with multiple freight carriers every day and they can make it right. You just need to talk to the right person. Keep escalating until you get what you want. Tell them that you needed the tires to compete and missed a comp because of them.

Airborne Express lost a 14SF on a pallet that I won on eBay. After several months they sicked a collection's agency on me because I didn't pay my bill! No chit dumbarses!
 
i tried telling them how they inconvienced me. i said that i had and appointment at the garage to get them mounted and balanced, but they just didnt seem to care. they arent giving me anything back. the tires should be here tomarrow. lets see if i get the right ones this time... ill post pics
 
Note every single mar and mark on them on the bill of lading. MAKE the driver note them and report them.

I do shipping and receiving and most drivers are good enough to do this when there is a legitimate issue or the pallet/items look like they've been through hell.
 
im going thru the same thing right now. I ordered a 5 inch skyjacker lift and 35" pro comp xtreme muds. it all showed up last tuesday the tires were right and most of the suspension was right. The problem was they sent me 2 different leaf springs, one for a half ton dodge and the other for a 3/4 ton ford.:confused: You could be drunk and still tell the diffrence. They are paying for shipping them back thru ups and shipping me the correct ones they even payed the extra money the correct springs cost. $40 total. 4wheelparts is where i ordered from.
