Ok i have a 1983 chevy k/10 350 and it wont start and it backfires out the carb ive replaced the distributor cap, rotor cap, the plugs, the wires and the fuel filter but still nothing

A little more info would be helpful. Was it running before you started replacing parts? Have you removed and reinstalled the distributor? The timing would definitely be the first thing to check.

Sounds to me like it is 180 degrees out of timing.... firing during open intake instead of exhaust... could have put the rotor cap on backwards.. try to turn it 180 degrees from what it is now... or mark where it is now and take the distributor out... turn 180 from where you marked and fire her up... then set your timing with a light.... good luck....
