Don't want to give up on it :(

I have a angle grinder and acc. What is a 110 spackler? LOL I think you meant welder right?

I want to get a welder but don't know what to get.

I'm assuming a cheap 110v buzzbox mig with fluxcore that covers your work with metal spackle/speckle.

Chicago Electric HF special. $100 :) Like mine :doah: Been meaning to try that spray you use so the spackle comes right off.

X2 the Harbor Freight Brand, Chigaco Elactric, is a good flux cord based beginner welder to learn on. perfect for body panel repairs, won't burn too hot once you get good at it,had mine for 4 years till i upgraded. still works too.

I was looking at those but didn't know much about them.
They have two differant kinds, a 110 that is all elec. and a 110 that you can use gas on too. The all elec. was on sale for $100 I think. And the other was like $250

I asked a guy at work about them.and he said if I can to get the one with the gas hookups because it would cut down on the spatter.

I guess it's just me then, cause all I do is chase holes if I'm doing sheet metal.
