Door Handles

I screwed up my door handles with rhino-hide and decided to buy a couple more from LMC. However, I can't seem to install them. The post in the door the handle pulls on has a "nail head" looking end. The LMC handle has a little oval hole that the post would look like it is supposed to go through. In any case, I have thrown my old handles away. Does anyone have some loose so they could take a pic of the back of the door handle? How do these things install?

Come on guys, help me out here. I gotta go fishing this weekend, I don't want to goto the salvage yard again!

I leave the nail head part on, what you want to do it attach/detach it at the bottom of that rod. I may have mine apart later tonght if so I will sanp some pics /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

How do you detach it from below? I can't get enough room to move my hands around down in there. Do you take the whole mechanism apart and out of the door?

weld them closed
