Any advice on where to purchase a wiper motor or door hinges, possibly Made in America? maybe?

Lmc has the hinge but no wiper motor, classic parts has them both, amazon has the wiper motor, made in china

thank you,

Trying to find a wiper motor, Made in the USA? GFL!
Best one can hope for is to get one made on a Tuesday, at 0945

If you get one of these, let us know what you think of it.

I've dug back into the wiper performance a bit, a late model Corvette motor has been used in aftermarket offerings, but it's not a bolt in, needs a bracket to fit the truck, and who knows what else to make work, but if the New Port motor is stronger/faster than stock, it may not be worth the hassle to figure out the Corvette piece.

Talked to New Port Wiper today, The builder said he believes he can build it.

He wants me to send the one I have for measurements but said I wouldn't be able to use the oem wiper switch lever on the column. Said I would have to use there switch.

I really want to go with there motor, but would like to retain the oem wiper motor control on the column lever.

Don't know what to do?

I wouldn't be interested in something that won't let me run the setup (controls anyway) as stock. That's just me. I don't blame you for wanting the same.

I would *think* with some thought the aftermarket or newer GM motors could be made to work with the stock controls, but both that kit and the detroit speed kit ( https://www.holley.com/blog/post/up...ith_detroit_speed_s_selecta-speed_wiper_kits/ ) replace the GM controls with their own. So something must complicate the situation electrically?

My interest is in getting a motor with more power. If the stock setup has worked for you, while it may not be a US part, just replacing the stock motor with another one would be the easiest, cheapest solution obviously.
